The Boothe Park Commission and the Town of Stratford are hosting the annual Great Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 20th, featuring the Great Pumpkin Carving contest! Watch as carvers sculpt 100 lb. pumpkins into works of art for cash prizes.
The festival will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and is a wonderful family-oriented event. Events will include a children’s costume parade (3:00 sharp) with prizes, DJ music, games, crafts, face painting, refreshments, pie baking contest, scarecrow judging contest, 4 Moonbounces, horse-drawn hayrides, roaming railroad, and the opening of the various historic buildings at the park, including tours of the Model Train Museum and Observatory.
