The popular 15th Annual Downtown Milford Lamplight Stroll will take place on Friday, December 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This classic New England tradition is a lively event, presented by the Downtown Milford Business Association. Each year, visitors of all ages return to this favorite nostalgic event, offering an old-fashioned holiday celebration staged throughout the picturesque, friendly downtown Milford district.
Visitors will browse through the 25+ Stroll Shops open for the event, offering a unique holiday shopping experience. In addition, there will be live entertainment and musicians throughout downtown, horse and carriage rides around the Green, and visits by Santa and Mrs. Santa. New activities this year include: projected images of classic holiday movies at three locations throughout downtown, a ‘Santa’s Man Cave,’ featuring businesses that appeal to men, a DMBA Hospitality Booth selling concessions and mini-poinsettias, and a Downtown Milford Holiday Pop-Up Market by Spinnaker, located at 50 Broad Street next to Colony Pizza. The Market’s Grand Opening will be Friday, December 2 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Market will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on December 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, and December 21-22.
