Lake Mohegan has a sprinkler park for children. Built and paid for by the volunteer organization Safe Parks and Recreation for Kids (SPARK), the fun zone is full of spouts, faucets and misters that will delight tiny toddlers and their older siblings too. The lake also has a playground, a snack bar, picnic shelter and restroom facilities.
There is no fee to park at Lake Mohegan in order that everyone may access the open space around the Lake, but there is a fee to gain access to the swimming and sprinkler park areas from Memorial Day Saturday thru Labor Day.
LAKE MOHEGAN SEASON PASSES – Individual ID’s with the Pass holders’ picture are needed for entrance into the facility. A Season Pass may be purchased for a fee of $10.00 per Permanent Resident and $20.00 per Non-Resident. Children 2 and under get in for FREE. Residents 62 + also get in for FREE by showing a Fairfield driver’s license at the gate. They may also purchase Season Passes for their Non-Resident grandchildren at the Resident Rate of $10.00 per child under 18.
Lake Mohegan Season Passes may be purchased at the Recreation Office at 75 Mill Plain Road during regular business hours or at Lake Mohegan during the season, but to avoid lines, we recommend renewing your 2018 Pass online.
