Apple Barrel Opening Day

Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 9 AM – 8 PM

On Saturday, March 14th, the Apple Barrel will open its doors for the 2020 season. We have a great day of family fun activities planned. Plus, it’s National Pi Day so we’ll be celebrating the mathematical constant Pi (3.14) with Pie specials and samples throughout the day.

In addition to new products and food options throughout the store, we’ll have raffles, special discounts, and vendors on site for sampling. The first 100 visitors will receive a free shopping bag made from 100% recycled bottles!

With it being the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, we invite you to come out to enjoy live Irish music. Monica Hamilton McCarthy and Patrick McCarthy are DUBLIN DOWN, multi-instrumentalists and vocalists performing traditional Irish & Celtic folk music, favorites by Tommy Makem, The Clancy Brothers, Van Morrison, The Waterboys, The Saw Doctors and more!

Miss Vicki and Miss Pam from the Levi Coe Library will be here for a Story Time and Craft from 9-11am. Your child will enjoy wonderful stories and make fun crafts. Free activity. Then, your child can get their face painted by the creative team from Fantasy Faces Too!

We’ll also have delicious holiday specials including Irish Soda Bread, Corned Beef & Cabbage specials in our cafe, and leprechaun cupcakes in the bakery! We’ll have lots of vendors sampling their products.

Come out to the opening of the Apple Barrel to enjoy Lyman’s own eco-certified apples, Apple Pies, Donut Holes, Apple Cider and more!
